On May 10, 2022 Companies 1 & 4 were dispatched to 1894 Rt 23 N, for a reported smoke condition in the area. 1st arriving chief found multiple vehicles on fire in a lot extending to surrounding brush. mutual aid was requested from company 6 and kinnelon for a tanker, NJ Forest Fire, to the scene as well as the West Milford First Aid Squad for fire standby.

On April 20, 2022 Companies 4,1 and 2 responded mutual aid to Hardyston for this incident. West Milford Companies were assigned to a water supply incident. No injuries were reported during the incident.

On April 28, 2022 Compnies 4 and 1 took part in a Wildland Firefighting awareness lecture taught by Nj State Forest Fire Division A. The lecture class taught the members different wildland tactics used for extinguishing forest fires and what the municipal departments can do to assist Forest Fire personnel. Overall great class with great information. Thank you Division A!!!
Mutual Aid to Passaic 3-22-22
On March 22, 2022, CO1 was dispatched to standby at East Side Fire dept. in Passaic for coverage while they were at a 4th alarm fire.
During the standby, we responded to an activated fire alarm.

Ice Rescue Awareness & Operations Class 1-25-22
On Janurary 25, 2022 Companies 4, 1 and 2 trained/refreshed on Ice Rescue tactics in prep for hands on training this weekend. This training is critical for the winter months with the quantity of lakes and ponds in town. Pond hockey, ice skating, ice fishing and Atv/dirt bike tracks are some of the common activities you’ll find happening around township bodies of water. But remember, NO ICE IS SAFE!!!!!
